The Real Reason Taylor Swift Has Been Missing Travis Kelce’s Chiefs Games
Attention, everyone in a state of frenzy over the fact that Taylor Swift has missed Travis Kelce’s last couple of NFL games: There’s no drama to be found.
Swift and Kelce are still going strong, and a source finally weighed in on why she was a no-show at the Chiefs September 22 game against the Atlanta Falcons and the team’s September 29 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. It turns out, Swift is simply prepping for her return to the Eras tour, and dealing with some security concerns.According to an insider who spoke to Page Six, Taylor’s absence isn’t—as the outlet put it—’a sign that she’s on the outs with Kansas City Chief’s tight end.’ Rather, she’s been busy with Eras tour rehearsals ahead of her October 18 show in Miami. On top of that, the musician prefers to attend Kelce’s home games at Arrowhead Stadium because security is easier to manage.

‘If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,’ a source close to the star explained. ‘She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.’
The Chiefs have plenty of home games this season that Swift can attend when she’s not busy on tour, so stay tuned. Meanwhile, it seems unlikely that Kelce will be able to make many more appearances at the concert series considering he’s in the thick of the NFL season.
