The 18-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie officially dropped her father’s surname after initially making the legal request on her birthday in May.
The court ruling obtained by Page Six shows a judge signed off on the change Monday morning. Her name has been changed from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh is forging ahead with her plan to remove Pitt from her legal name.
The 18-year-old recently published a notice in the Los Angeles Times to announce that she was dropping “Pitt” from her surname, court documents obtained by Page Six show. The filing states the notice ran in the newspaper on June 17, June 24, July 1 and July 8.
According to California law, a person is required to publish a request in the notices section of a newspaper that is in general circulation.
