Brazen thieves steal $2MILLION worth of vintage cards featuring Mickey Mantle, Jackie Robinson and Babe Ruth… including one collectible worth $175k

Thieves stole more than $2million worth of vintage baseball cards from a collectors’ show in Texas over the weekend, including a rare Mickey Mantle rookie card valued at $175,000.

At the Dallas Card Show, Ashish Jai, identified as the owner of Legacy Cardz, says he lost dozens of baseball cards, including graded ones of some of baseball’s biggest stars of all-time including Jackie Robinson and Babe Ruth.

The reported theft took place on Sunday in the Dallas suburb of Allen, Texas.

Jai posted photos of the cards he says were stolen, alongside a video of the incident.

The video shows one man in a white shirt distracting three people watching his booth of cards, while another in a blue shirt sneaks behind it and takes a briefcase.
