Taylor Swift reacts “I’m NOT Happy” as Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Talks Taylor Swift Coachella Videos, Not Going with VIP Tickets. “Is She Not Suppose to be Happy?”
After being filmed at Coachella with Taylor Swift last weekend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce talked about the experience of being there and taking it in with the crowd rather than trying to get their own viewing area from backstage.
On the latest episode of New Heights, presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, Kelce explained he wanted to see the show “from the front of the stage” rather than in a different section.
“I like to see it from the fans’ perspective, like, the people that actually… because I am, I’m a fan of the music,” he said (h/t Sophie Schillaci of ETOnline.com), . “I’m a fan of live shows. … I think it’s just that much more of an experience if you’re in the pit, man, if you’re in the madness with all the fans.”
Fan videos and pictures showed the power couple in the crowd dancing to songs during sets from Ice Spice and Bleachers.
Bleachers is the band led by Jack Antonoff, who has written songs and produced Swift’s albums since 2013.
Kelce said Antonoff and Bleachers “absolutely ripped it and I had so much fun seeing him go nuts with the guitar and all his boys.”
The first weekend of Coachella ran from April 12-14 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The second weekend will begin on Friday and run through Sunday.
Kelce is in the midst of his offseason, with the Chiefs starting phase one of their voluntary offseason workout program on Monday. Phase two will take place later this month, followed by phase three and organized team activities starting on May 20.
Swift is on a hiatus from the Eras Tour until May 9 when she will run shows at the Paris La Défense Arena in France. Her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, will be released on Friday.
