Princess Kate and Prince William have shared touching story to mark the birthday of their son Prince George
The young royal, who is second in line to the British throne, turned 11 on Monday after making a series of high-profile public appearances in recent months.
The official Kensington Palace social media accounts shared a photograph taken by Kate to mark the occasion, showing George dressed in a suit and white shirt, with no tie.

While the Wales family handled the initial stages of Kate’s health challenges, George and his siblings, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, mainly remained out of the public eye.
They made their first official joint appearance of 2024 in June at the Trooping the Colour celebrations with their parents.
