Jason Kelce has opened up on the secret to his success on the golf course while taking part in this week’s celebrity tournament at Lake Tahoe.
Kelce is one of several high-profile names competing in the 2024 American Century Championship, along with actors Rob McElhenney and Miles Teller, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and many more.
And as he battles it out with a number of famous faces in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the retired Philadelphia Eagles legend has revealed that sinking a few beers during rounds actually improves his game – so long as he doesn’t overdo it.
‘There’s a point of an overturn. Usually two to three [beers] over the course of the round, that’s my sweet spot,’ he told Access Hollywood.
‘Once I’m over two to three, game starts to go downhill quickly. ‘But there is like a two to three range where I definitely play significantly better. So the swing lube is real.’
